How to Make a Difference
Through Family Promise of South Palm Beach County, you can make a lasting difference in the lives of homeless families. Our goal is to help our community mobilize to alleviate the immediate suffering of families and to help them get back on their feet. So your support now can give and grow for years to come.
Your Donation Goes a Long Way!
Our program is very cost effective because of our heavy reliance upon volunteer service and in-kind giving. Every dollar received from grants, foundations or individuals is matched by approximately $.90 in in-kind giving. Family Promise of South Palm Beach County only employees 1 full-time person and one part time person.
You or your business, corporation, foundation, or congregation can help by making a financial contribution to Family Promise of South Palm Beach County. In making a personal donation, please remember that some employers may match your gift. Some community groups or schools have initiated creative fundraiser's in their efforts to support the Family Promise mission. Donate Now!
Become a Volunteer!
Approximately 50 volunteers are needed each week to work to provide guest families with basic human needs – shelter, safety, and sustenance. Just as important is their work in providing companionship, acceptance and dignity to each individual they welcome. Both volunteers and guests grow, learning from each other and coming to know one another as individual human beings with inherent worth. You can share in the Family promise of South Beach County mission of helping homeless families to achieve lasting self-sufficiency by encouraging your own congregation to become a hosting or supporting congregation. There are so many families which need our help. The more congregations who wish to participate, the more homeless families can be helped
